Inspire is a leading social network for health with over 1.3 million registered patients and caregiver members, of which 300,000+ belong to Inspire cancer communities. In spring 2017, Inspire implemented the Immunotherapy Awareness and Perceptions Survey to explore what those affected by cancer know about immunotherapies in general, and more specifically what they know of immunotherapy treatment options, treatment usage and clinical trials experiences.

Survey respondents were either cancer patients or caregivers of someone with cancer and the survey took approximately 10 minutes to complete. Eight hundred and twenty-three patient and caregiver members completed the survey.
