In this position you will be working as part of Inspire’s Business Development Insights team responsible for the following:
- Establishing and managing client relationships to maximize Inspire’s growth across market research services
- Serve as overall customer relationship manager and strategic business partner developing and expanding new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and other healthcare customers
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Inspire’s Market Research/Insights products (social intelligence, virtual advisory boards, virtual interviews, surveys).
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing Accounts.
- Establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within Account and develop deep knowledge of the customer organization.
- Actively network in the industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities.
- Continuously monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained.
- Analyze potential opportunities and develop sales strategies for each account. Ensure appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to customer. Monitor actions and results against plans.
- Prepare and lead in-person and online client pharmaceutical presentations (from C-suite to market research teams, and commercial)
- Establish brand recognition; communicate with internal Research and Product Managers to assess overall level of customer satisfaction and progress of projects.
- Develop/write contracts and proposals.
- Handle follow-up related to the sale and drive completion of contractual documents.
- Utilize CRM (“Salesforce”) to establish reports and dashboards to analyze business development and sales activities and track progress.
- Communicate all account activity to Senior Leadership and/or appropriate individuals through the CRM system.
Requirements
WHAT WE NEED:
Our next teammate will have skills and/or knowledge that includes:
- Proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts in: pharmaceutical organizations (from C-suite to market researcher, and commercial)
- 5-10 years relevant industry experience (in pharmaceutical market research and patient insights); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development
- Excellent skills using Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel)
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strategic business awareness and analytical skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
- Ability to influence others both internally and externally
- Enjoy working both independently and as a team player
